How Launch Capital Inc. collects, uses and protects personal information on launchcapital.ca.
Effective October 5, 2026
Launch Capital Inc. ("Launch Capital", "we", "us") is a Toronto, Ontario venture capital firm and family office. This policy explains what personal information we collect through launchcapital.ca (the "Site"), how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
We collect information in three ways:
We do not sell personal information.
We use Google Analytics to measure Site traffic. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage information, which Google processes on our behalf. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Site work.
We use trusted third parties to operate the Site and our business, including Webflow (website hosting and form processing), Google (analytics and email), and HubSpot (customer relationship management for tracking pitches and founder inquiries). These providers may process information on our behalf and only for the purposes we direct.
We share personal information only with our service providers as described above, with professional advisors bound by confidentiality, where you ask us to (for example, an introduction to a co-investor), or where required by law or to protect our rights. If our business is reorganized or sold, information may transfer to the successor, subject to this policy.
Our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities there under local law.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Pitch and inquiry records are kept while we may reasonably follow up, then deleted or anonymized.
You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent, or have it deleted, subject to legal limits. You can unsubscribe from any marketing message using the link in the message or by contacting us. To make a request, use our contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
